Abseil in the Dark!! A fantastic abseiling experience for the daring family or friends to enjoy in the Peak District. A stunning location just a short walk from the car park is the 90ft descent of Millers Dale Bridge overlooking the River Wye. Adrenalin guaranteed! Minimum age 10yrs and over. A minimum of 4 goes each - more if time allows!
Alternative dates available for groups of 4+ Why not try our canoeing or underground lead mine adventure as well??

Itinerary

Having met - we kit up, take a short level walk along the Monsal Trail to the Millers Dale Bridge. Head torches on! A full safety briefing before one person at a time climbs through the bridge railings to start their descent - your in charge! A safety rope attached at all times. Return back to the top via steps for more goes. Smiles guaranteed !! Return back to the car park. Alternately do abandon me at the bridge and head off walking. Please allow 1.5hrs if just two people. 2hrs if three or more people.

🧤 Warm Clothing - Appropriate for the weather for the day. Long trouser would be recommended for the wearing of a harness. Gloves if you have them. Hair tied back.
☂️ Waterproofs - Waterproof Jacket if needed.
🥤 Drink - Optional - drink and snacks for between your goes.
📋 Other - Change for car park ticket.

Cancellations

Custom Policy

For a 50% refund your booking can be cancelled 30 days prior to the activity scheduled start date. 
cancelling within 30 days of the activity start date will result in loss of all money paid.
Alternate dates may be able to be agreed at no additional cost, but this is not guaranteed or possible in all situations.
Being late, ill / sick, unable to park, booking an inappropriate activity, will result in the activity starting without you or not going ahead at all with the loss of all money paid.
Gift Vouchers are non refundable ever.

Should Peaks and Paddles need to cancel for any reason - full refund or alternative date or activity offered where possible.
