Peak District National Park

Edale Skyline Winter Challenge - Guided Walk - Including lunch

  • Location Derbyshire
  • Price from £50.00

Highlights

The Edale Skyline is feast of glorious views, remote high moorland and gritstone edges.
On this shorter Winter Version we cover 25km of the Skyline with the aim of maximising your enjoyment of the daylight hours
and being back at the car park before dark (or slightly afterwards).
We'll walk along quieter routes on the Kinder Plateau, to the iconic Win Hill Pike, then along the Great Ridge to Mam Tor iron age hill fort.
This is a full day walk, so we include our usual Ranger Expedition hospitality, with a lunch stop, hot drinks and water top-up.

We guide at a steady pace in small groups so you're never lost in the crowd. And our extra on-route support and water top up means you can enjoy your walk with a much lighter daypack. Your guides for the day are experienced local professional Mountain and Moorland Leaders.

Deferrals
We're sorry but we cannot accept deferrals to a later event. While we sympathise with participant's individual circumstances, we cannot indemnify against injury, illness or other unfortunate situations in private life prior to the event. The bottom line is that booking fees for a given event are already heavily invested very early in the planning process (e.g. booking guides, support team, advance payments for transport where used, insurance etc) Deferrals in effect cost us twice the amount in event costs – once for the event deferred from and once again for the event deferred to, which is not sustainable.

Insurance
If the ability to join is of concern to a participant, we recommend taking out personal cancellation insurance.
Legally, we cannot legally advise or guide you on cancellation policies or their details.
