Peak District National Park

Abseil & Cave Multi Activity Day

  • Location Derbyshire
  • Price from £99.00

Highlights

Abseiling and caving are two of most popular activities so why not combine them to do both in one day?
The thrill of abseiling is something to remember as we start the day abseiling from the Millers Dale Viaduct. We build your confidence abseiling in the morning with multiple abseils each.  In the afternoon we head underground where we can abseil in the cave, sometimes even down a waterfall. Or maybe you would prefer to take on our squeeze challenges?
You may get wet so come prepared although we aim to stay as dry as possible for as long as possible! Our instructors will look after your safety and will give you the option to do some of the challenges on offer.
This is a great activity day and opportunity to try this in the safest way possible by using a well established company that has been operating in the Peak District for 15 years.

Itinerary

We will meet you at the start time and issue everyone with a harness and helmet before walking down the trail to the bridge. Once at the bridge we will get everybody harnessed up and start abseiling as quickly as possible. The aim is to initially build confidence and trust, and then get in as many abseils as we can in the time we have. We will finish at 1130am and back at the car park before 12pm ready for lunch. We will have lunch here (either bring a packed lunch or pop into the cafe). After lunch, follow us to the cave (approx 15 minute drive). We will issue you with all the kit you need to keep you safe underground. Once in the cave we will explore as a group and find some challenges along the way.
